| first entry in a long time. Sorry, my computer hasn't been working right since the beginning of the semester. But anyway, its working for now, hopefully it will stay this way. Ever get really down on yourself and can't get yourself out of that hole that you have dug yourself into? Just a question. | | |
| Wooo... it's been a couple of weeks. After getting home for good from Chi-town home was a whirlwind 5 days and then it was up to Ames. I thought that life was supposed to be slower here, yeah right. If anything it feels like my life as gone plaid (that's for those Spaceballs nuts out there). Building lofts, moving people in, and meeting some awesome guys on my floor would have worn the average person out. Myself would be included without the help of my awesome brothers and sisters that I have here in Ames. These guys are the best. Thanks so much to all of you guys. Oh yeah and the dirt track races at the Boone speedway last night were awesome. | | |
| So I had an interesting conversation the other night. I was talking with someone who had just gotten back from visiting there Grandmother who is in a nurseing home. Said person made the comment that their Grandmother was as stubborn as she had always been. This perked my interesst to think about what little quirks I woud never grow out of. And also what I would be like when I get to the age where I need to be cared for. Wierd to think about, but it also made for some interesting conversation. Anyway just giving you something to chew on. | | |
| Sarah put up an away message about Hicksville, I really miss Hicksville, it's my favorite place. South Carolina was cool pretty backwoods and laidback. Ok so it was awesome, come on the beach please there is no comparison to the concrete jungle that it Chicago. Don't get me wrong this City has its high points and I enjoy it here but the beach was awesome. I want to go back already (except to a beach with out sand dollars (shudders)). Antway I am looking forward to going home and getting back to Ames. I miss everyone a ton and long to see you all again. Only one more week left, see you all soon.

| One Step Further
This has been a recurring theme for this summer. It's all about pushing the limits. Taking something that someone else has said or done and going bigger. Very much an ego thing. This has gotten into some very interesting conversations and situations. Like in discussions about the World Trade Center, and swimming in the lake at Carries cabin. Of course what happens at SALT for the most part stays at SALT. You can ask all you want but some things are probably better left unrepeated.
On a completey different note I got tickets to the Montgomery Gentry / Gary Allan concert. It's on the 13th of August at the Iowa State Fair. If anyone actually reads this and wants to go just let me know. | | |
